Bank - Lebanon

The Challenge
The main challenge facing the bank was maintaining its success and the image of trust and credibility while embarking on an aggressive regional expansion.

The Solution
Our consultants helped the bank to translate its strategy and proven risk management practices to its worldwide operations. Together with the Bank’s Board of Directors, we were able to develop the 2020 vision, strategy and Balanced Scorecard system.

Bank – Saudi Arabia

The Challenge
The Bank had formulated a strategy and implemented a Balanced Scorecard system but faced challenges in the alignment of the divisions and departments with the corporate strategy and directions. They also had inconsistencies in the cascading process of the strategy to position level and the strategy communication process.

The Solution
Our consultants were engaged to review the existing implementation of the Balanced Scorecard.
Through extensive meetings with management and system audits we prepared a findings report including a list of initiatives for the bank to implement.

Gas Distribution

The Challenge
The challenge was that the company was operating in a highly regulated and competitive market with diminishing margins and limited demand. The General Manager approached us for Organization Design and Restructuring services.

The Solution
After the review of the Company, our consultants suggested that we needed to start this project with developing a comprehensive strategy taking into consideration the challenges and opportunities facing the Company. With the strategy in-place, a clear organization structure with defined roles, responsibilities and segregation of duties.

A new entity was established on the level of the holding to provide support services including finance, accounting, HR, IT, internal audit, etc.

Petrochemical Company

The Challenge
The company experienced organizational misalignment which prohibited it from achieving its vision and objectives. This led the company’s Management to attempt the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard framework on their own. The project faced numerous challenges including lack of buy-in, misalignment, resistance to change, communication issues, etc.

The Solution
Our consultants helped the company to develop a 5 years strategy with a complete Balanced Scorecard strategy management system cascaded to departmental and position level.

Real Estate

The Challenge
The company realized the need to differentiate its position in the Saudi market plagued by rising competition, low barriers to entry, and low quality real estate development. The company decided to transform itself into a Strategy Focused Organization.

The Solution
Our consultants helped the company to formulate a well-rounded and coherent strategy, devising an efficient and effective management system, and cascading the corporate strategy to the departments and positions levels. The Ministry was facing a number of challenges prohibiting it from executing its strategy, such as unclear strategic direction, limited resources, and resource alignment.
